Geoff Peterson

Geoff is the Head Coach at Peterson's Gym which is part of the Southcity Boxing & Fitness family. Geoff Peterson has over 45 years experience in the boxing. He has trained and coached at Olympic and Commonwealth Games level, and has a true passion for the sport. For Geoff, boxing is more than just a competition, it’s a way to enhance your life. That’s why he takes pride in mentoring many of his young students who may be doing it tough. 

GEOFF’S EXPERIENCE:

  • He has trained 22 elite Australian amateur boxing champions, including at several Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games.

  • Boxing Coach of the 2004 Athens Olympics

  • Winner of countless state and national teams to the AIS for training over the past 30 years

  • Current President of the Western Australian Boxing Association

  • Geoff is also a mentor to many of the young kids who have issues in their lives
