SouthCity Boxing & Fitness is also the home of Peterson's Gym. Head Coach Geoff Peterson has proven he is an expert boxing coach by training both Olympic and Commonwealth boxers who have represented Australia. Peterson has some 22 elite Australian amateur boxing champions on his training CV, so if you want to take your boxing up a notch, Geoff can offer the best advice around.
Our Trainers
Geoff Peterson
Geoff is the Head Coach at Peterson's Gym. With over 45 years experience in the boxing, he has trained and coached at Olympic and Commonwealth Games level, and has a true passion for the sport.
Erle Wiltshire
An ex-Olympian, Erle competed in the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Boxing Team. He has over 20 years of experience in the sport of boxing, both in the ring and as a coach.
Romesh Fernando
Romesh is an ex-pupil of Geoff’s with over 20 years experience with the sport of boxing. He is committed to helping students reach their full potential as boxers, as well as to have a great time keeping fit.

BOXERCISE
After a high impact cardio session? Want to work out your entire body and let off some steam? Boxercise gives you just that.
TECHNIQUE CLASSES
We run beginners technique classes twice a week, along with three intermediate - advanced technique classes with Romesh Fernando.
COMPETITION TRAINING
Want to get competitive with your boxing? Students will get the chance to learn under Olympic & Commonwealth boxing coaches.
BOXING CLASSES FOR KIDS
Suitable for kids aged between 5 and 12 years old to shake off some excess energy. Learn the value of hard work, teamwork and discipline.
